Melvie's Cleaning Crew ("Melvie's," "we," "us") provides residential house cleaning services in the San Fernando Valley, California. This policy explains what information we collect through melviescleaningcrew.com, how we use it, and your choices — including around text messaging.
Information we collect
When you submit a quote request or booking on our site, we collect what you provide directly: your name, phone number, email address, home size, service type, city/neighborhood, preferred date, and any notes you add. We do not collect this information any other way, and we don't use tracking cookies or analytics on this site at this time.
How we use your information
- To respond to your quote request and provide pricing
- To schedule, confirm, and deliver cleaning services
- To send you a text or email confirming your request or booking, if you've opted in
- To process payment, for bookings made through our online Book & Pay feature
Text messaging (SMS)
By checking the SMS opt-in box on our quote form, you agree to receive text messages from Melvie's Cleaning Crew related to your request and, if you opt in, occasional updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is never required to purchase our services, and you can always reach us by phone instead.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used solely to communicate with you about your own request or booking.
Who we share information with
We use a small number of service providers to run this site and deliver our service, each of whom only receives what's needed to do their specific job:
- Formspree — delivers quote-request submissions to our email
- Twilio — sends text message confirmations and internal lead alerts
- Cal.com — powers online appointment scheduling, where available
- Stripe — processes payment securely for online bookings, where available; we never see or store your full card details, Stripe handles that directly
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any purpose.
Data retention
We keep quote and booking information for as long as needed to provide service and for reasonable business recordkeeping afterward. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by contacting us below.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text from us to opt out of future texts immediately
- Email or call us to ask what information we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted
- Simply don't check the SMS opt-in box if you'd rather we only contact you by phone or email
Children's privacy
Our services and this site are directed at adults arranging cleaning services for their homes. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and revise the effective date above.
