These terms cover your use of melviescleaningcrew.com and any cleaning services you book with Melvie's Cleaning Crew ("Melvie's," "we," "us"), serving the San Fernando Valley, California. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using this site, you agree to these terms.
Our services
We provide residential house cleaning — standard cleans, deep cleans, move-in/move-out cleans, recurring service, and same-day service where available — at the flat rates published on our pricing page by home size. As stated there: prices may vary based on home condition and add-ons. If your home's condition would change the price, we'll tell you before we start work, not after.
Requesting a quote
Submitting the quote form is a request for pricing and availability, not a confirmed booking. We'll follow up by phone, text, or email to confirm your appointment.
Online booking & payment
Where our online Book & Pay feature is available, selecting a time slot and completing checkout confirms your appointment and charges the full quoted amount at time of booking. Payment is processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your card details ourselves.
Cancellations & rescheduling
We know plans change. Contact us as soon as possible by phone or text at (747) 354-0507 to cancel or reschedule.
- 24 hours or more notice: free cancellation or rescheduling, no charge.
- Less than 24 hours notice, or a no-show: a $50 flat fee applies, since that time was held for you and turned away from other bookings.
Text messaging (SMS)
By opting in on our quote form, you agree to receive text messages from Melvie's Cleaning Crew about your request or booking, and, if you opt in, occasional updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes. Access to your home
You're responsible for providing safe, reasonable access to the areas being cleaned (a key, code, or being present) and for telling us about pets, fragile items, or anything else we should know before we start.
Limitation of liability
We take care in every home we clean. That said, our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for that specific service. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or issues not caused by our work.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our services change. The effective date above will reflect the latest revision.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
